Country’s noted photographer Chanchal Mahmood and his wife Raina Mahmood’s photography exhibition titled Jugolbondi was scheduled to be held in 2019. Due to cancer of Raina Mahmood, the exhibition did not hold. After getting recovery from illness, the exhibition will be inaugurated at Gallery Chitrak in the capital’s Dhanmondi Road No 6 area today at 4:30pm. The exhibition will be inaugurated by popular film celebrity couple Moushumi and Omar Sani.
While talking about the exhibition Chanchal Mahmood said, “Many celebrities came into media with my hands. Somebody forgot me. But Moushumi and Omar Sani remembered me. For last one year we passed a crucial time in our life. They were beside us during treatment of Raina’s cancer. Both Moushumi and Omar Sani will be present as chief guest at the exhibition today.”
The exhibition will remain open for all from 4:30pm to 8:00pm till October 27. A total of 70 photographs including nationally and internationally award winning works of Chanchal Mahmood and his wife Raina will put on display in the exhibition. Only Moushumi’s three photos in a frame will also put on display which will not be sold, Chanchal Mahmood also said.
