Once successful pair of the big screens Moushumi and Omar Sani most of the time worked together in films. However, they also worked together in the small screen but that number is few. On the occasion of coming Eid, they again worked together as a pair for a play titled E Ki Khela.
Arif Khan has made the play under the story written by noted TV actress Bipasha Hayat. While talking about story of the play its playwright Bipasha Hayat told this correspondent, “Story of the play revolves with greediness, sin and its impacts on human life. When human being’s these things are expressed happiness becomes meaningless. From the time being small faults come in front of us. I have tried to present these things in my written play. I always want to write those things which create something in human minds.”
Shooting of the play was done on Monday and Tuesday in the city’s Uttara area. Omar Sani said, “I have acted in a good work after long time. So I am very much satisfied. For the first time I worked under Arif Khan’s direction. He works sincerely and he knows properly what he is doing. There is life in its script. I know Bipasha Hayat writes story for the small screen but I couldn’t know how much fine her write up. I have cordial thanks to her.”
Moushumi shared her feelings by this way, “I often get offers to work in TV plays and telefilms. But those scripts did not attract me. Bipasha Hayat written this story was liked by me. Therefore the story is based on husband-wife issues and Sani acted in role of my husband on the screen. So I felt comfortable to work in this play. Arif Khan is a talented director. I can comfortably work under his direction. I am very much optimistic about the play.”
Director Arif Khan informed that the play E Ki Khela will be telecasted on Ntv in Eid-ul-Azha. Poresh Acharya, Munira Yusuf Memy, Brindaban Das, among others, also acted in other roles.
It is mentioned that Omar Sani and Moushumi last worked together in small screen in a play titled Bhalobashar Bish Bochhor in 2016. Now they are acting in Uttam Akash’s movie Ami Neta Hobo, Moushumi said.
