A housewife was hacked with axe to death by husband at Pabohara village area of Malancha union under Kahalu upazila of Bogra recently.
The deceased housewife was identified as Ismat Ara, 40, wife of Abubakkar Siddik of the same village and mother of two sons, a daughter.
Police quoting the victim’s family members said that the deceased made a quarrel with her husband for his late coming in the house each night and hearing the questions of his wife he became furious to her and hacked her in the whole body with Axe. At a stage she was rushed to Kahalu health complex by her relatives as her condition worsen but on duty doctor declared her dead and later police visited the place of occurrence (PO) and at 5 am on Monday.
