Body recovered in Kamalganj

 Police recovered the dead body of Vipul Bauri (65) from Languchhara of Kamadpur village in Alinagar Union of Kamalganj, Moulvibazar. The body was recovered at 10 am on Tuesday; He is the son of late Lankesh Bauri of Alinagar tea plantation. According to Kamalganj police sources, Vipul Bauri was missing since the evening of July 14. Later on last Monday, a missing diary was made by the family. Vipul around 10 am on Tuesday
Locals informed the police after seeing Bauri’s body floating in the water. After that, a police team led by Kamalganj Police Inspector (Investigation) Abdur Razzak recovered Vipul Bauri’s body from the spot.

Woman electrocuted in Juri

Woman’s body recovered in Srimangal

The police recovered the body of a housewife named Akalima Begum (26), a Qatari expatriate, from her house in Bhunbir Union of Srimangal Upazila. The deceased’s husband Parvez Mia is absconding since this incident. His dead body was recovered from his home in Madhavpasha village of Bhunbir Union under Srimangal Upazila on Monday, Akalima is the daughter of Abul Kasem of Madhavpasha village.
Akalima’s husband Bari is the son of Bachchu Mia of Chakra village of Kachua upazila of Chandpur district.
Rubel Mia, cousin of deceased Akalima Begum, said that Akalima and Parvez both used to work in Saudi Arabia. There they got involved in a love relationship because of the benefits of the job. At some point, Parvez married Akalima in Saudi Arabia four years ago. Akalima and Parvez from Saudi Arabia are both in the country
After a few days in the country, Akalima left her husband Parvez at home and moved to Qatar. She had worked there for 18 months, Akalima returned home on July 15 of this month. Since coming to the country, Akalima wants the account of money sent from Qatar to her husband Parvez. Parvez told Akalima that he had spent all the money. This causes a quarrel between husband and wife. They had a fight on Sunday night too.

One dies a heatstroke in Kulaura

A person named Chitta Biswas (55) died of heatstroke at 3 pm in the afternoon on Tuesday, July 19 in Kadipur Union of Kulaura Upazila. Chairman of Kadipur Union Parishad Zafar Ahmad Gilman said that Chitta Biswas of Kakichar village of Kadipur Union along with his son Deepak Biswas went to cut grass for cow feed in Hawar next to the house by boat. Chitta Biswas suddenly fell into the boat while cutting grass go to Son Deepak Biswas quickly returned home with his father.
Deepak Biswas died by then.
The chairman also said that it is believed that Chitta Biswas died of cardiac arrest due to excessive heat.
Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kulaura police station, visited the spot after receiving the news. He said that Chitta died before taking Biswas to the hospital. He may die of heatstroke.

Child drowned in Kulaura
 A child named Julie Begum (8) died after drowning in the water of the pond at Brahmanbazar Union of Kulaura Upazila on Tuesday.
