Moulvibazar, Cumilla and Bogura districts of boys’ group and Narail and Faridpur districts of girls’ group ensured the last eight spot in final round of IGP Cup National Youth Kabaddi competition eliminating their respective rivals held on Friday at Paltan Ground adjoining to the Bangabandhu National Stadium. In the day’s boys’ group matches, Moulvibazar beat Bogura by 38-28 points, Cumilla defeated Kishorganj by 37-17 points, Rangpur outclassed Lalmonirhat by 40-33 points and Jessore overpowered Barisal by 48-28 points to reach into the quarterfinal.
