After taking part in an international dance festival popular actress, dance artiste and model Sadia Islam Mou has returned to country. The
two-day long festival was held at Rich Mix Centre of
East London in UK on
April 28 and 29.
In the festival, Mou, Tanna Khan, Farhana Chowdhury Baby, Amirul Moni, Rosemary Mitu Ribeira, Sohel Ahmed and Sonia Sultana performed. Poet and play director TM Ahmed Kaiser gave direction and also hosted the event.
A reception was given to Sadia Islam Mou, Farhana Khan Tanna and Farhana Chowdhury Baby at Leads City Council on April 30 and on May 1 a civic reception was given to Mou at Barking and Dagenham Council.
Mou has already returned to Bangladesh. While talking about receiving the awards Mou told this correspondent, “It is really a delightful matter for me to get two receptions
in London. To receive such awards outside the country is really honourable. I am
grateful to the organizers of the event and also grateful
to them who honoured me there. I always try to represent my country.”
