Some unidentified miscreants slaughtered a motorcyclist to death at Anantapur village field under Moheshpur upazila in Jhenidah on Monday night.
The victim is identified as Shahidul Islam, 48 son of Nabusaddin Mondol of Gurdah village under Moheshpur upazila of the district.
Officer- in -charge (OC) Shahadat Hossain of Moheshpur police station said, Shahidul carried passenger with his bike for long. On Monday night the miscreants called him over mobile phone for hiring his bike. When they reached at Anantapur village field he was slaughtered to death by some unidentified miscreants. They left the scene with the bike. A case has been filed with Moheshpur police station on Tuesday morning.
