Motorbike of a journalist again stolen in the port city yesterday morning . Staff Reporter of Dhaka Tribune Tarek Mahmud is the victim of the motorbike lifting.
This motorbike was stolen from ground floor of Nabi Villa of middle Rampur under Halishahar thana yesterday morming . The black coloured Discovery model bike No. Dhaka-Metro-ha-459480 . Journo Tarek has been residing in the Nabi Villa building and his bike was kept in the ground floor . The motorbike lifters take away the bike from the ground floor by cutting lock of the collapse gate .
A case in connection was lodged with the Halishahar thana immediately. Halishahar thana officer- in-charge Ahsan Habib admitted the lifting of the bike of Tarek Mahmud. Earlier, the motorbikes of senior photographer of Bangladanews24.com Ujjal Kanti Dhar, Reporter of Kalerkantha Nupur Dev, photojournalist of Daily Sun Masum Habib , Reporter of Prothom Alo Gazi Firoz, staff reporter New Nation Nazrul Islam were stolen but police yet to recovered any one till date, sources said.
