An unidentified motor cyclist was killed when a loaded truck bound for Khulna collided head on with it (motor cycle) near at Ransen wholesale fish market on Khulna-Mongla Highway under Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat district on Tuesday evening.
It is learnt from the eyewitness and Hospital source that the killer truck that was going from Mongla Port to Khulna and when it reached the place of occurrence at 6 pm it dashed the motor cyclist who was coming from the opposite direction violently. As a result, the motor cyclist was thrown out on the Highway and was fatally injured. He was rushed to Rampal Upazila Health Complex where the physicians on duty declared him dead. On the other hand, after the road mishap police of Katakhali Higway PS seized the killer truck.
