Mothers’ role for eradicating school dropouts stressed

Speakers at a mothers’ gathering here said mothers role are vital for eradicating school dropouts and ensuring quality primary education to their children.
They were addressing a mothers gathering on the role of mothers for quality primary education and for eradicating school dropouts organised by Chinishpur Dipshikha Mohila Samity (CDMS) a non government voluntary organisation at its office premises on Wednesday.
 Chairman of Chinishpur union parishad Mohammad Nuruzzaman attended the meeting as chief guest while it was presided over by the Executive Director of CDMS Sofura Begum.
Headmaster of Rajadee-Chinishpur High School Abu Baker Siddique, Head Mistress of Chinishpur Government Primary School Monwara Sultana, Head Mistress of Rajadee Government primary school Lipi Rani sarker ,local union parishad member Kador Hossain, Women member Porina Begum, Social leader Bodruzzaman Bhuiyan and a number of mothers addressed in the discussion. Over 300 mothers of the students from different schools of the areas participated in the gathering with a view to lay their due rules in improving primary education and stoppage the students dropouts in the school. The speakers called the mothers, teachers and the guardians for their concerted efforts in building an illiteracy-free Bangladesh as targeted by the government through ensuring 100 percent enrollment in primary schools.
They said, the mothers and guardians could play vital role in ensuring quality primary education and accountability of the teachers to make the next generation worthy citizens through providing them with quality education at the grassroots level.
The participants mothers ensuring that they will able to completely eradicate dropouts the primary school engaging all possible efforts to improve standard of education through cooperation, regular supervision and providing suggestion.
