Mother and son were injured with shootout by the rival group over the dispute of land in Banskhali upzila in Chittagong on Sunday night. The incident of firing occurred at Belgaon Tea estate of pukuria union of the upazila .
The injured mother named Banu bala(70) and son Sadhan Chandra(40) . Sadhan is the worker of the belgaon tea estate, sources said. District police sources said a number of miscreants fired at them after midnight leaving them injured critically. It is assumed that these hired miscreants shootout them on behalf of the rival group over the land dispute in same area.
Constable of the CMC Hospital police camp Abdul hamid told that these two injured persons were admitted into hospital with bullet injury and they are now under treatment in the hospital.
