A house wife Nurjahan Begum (32) died in a road accident saving her own child Zannatul (4). It was happened at 7 am on Tuesday at the place of Gormati in Baraigram upazila of Natore district on Natore- Pabna road. Nurjahan was a wife of Milon Ali of the village Gormati under Baraigram upazila.
Nurjahan’s husband Milon Ali said, I was going with my wife and 2 children at a crop-field crossing Natore- Pabna road. I crossed the road with my son Mohin Ali (14) but my wife Nurjahan and daughter Zannatul (4) was waiting for crossing at the road side. Then a driver failed to control his truck and it was going toward my wife and daughter. Understanding this, my wife threw far away her daughter Zannatul for life saving. At that time, the truck ran over my wife Nurjahan in front my eyes. She died on spot.
Bonpara Highway thana OC Khondaker Shafikul Islam said, a house wife Nurjahan Begum died on spot and the killer truck has been taken at police custody.
