A mother in Manikganj died one hour after the death of her son as she could not bear the grief. The incident took place at Andharmanik village in Boyra union of Harirampurupazila on Thursday (March 3) morning.
Amal Roy (48) died of cancer at 6:00 am. His mother Shobha Roy (80) fell to her death at around 7.00 am while sitting next to her son’s body in the yard.
Amal Roy is the son of Nani Gopal Roy of Andharamanik village in Boyra union of the upazila. The deceased Amal Roy is married and has two children.
