Earlier Mosharraf Karim and Zakia Bari Mamo worked together in three to four faction plays.
This time they are working together in a drama serial under Shamim Zaman’s direction in RTV’s ongoing serial Jhamela Unlimited.
Mamo will be appeared on the screen in this serial in role of a new character named Rani.
Last Monday Mamo for the first time took part in shooting of this serial. She took part in whole day’s shooting with Mosharraf Karim who is acting in role of Sobhan. Already 50 episodes of the serial have been aired.
Director Shamim Zaman informed that Mamo’s acted episodes will go on air from 70 episodes of the serial.
While talking about the serial Mosharraf Karim told this correspondent, “As a director, Shamim Zaman works well. He gives direction sincerely. His full unit has cordial attitude. For this reason, I am enjoying a lot working in my friend’s directed serial. I have got maximum response from this serial. On the other hand, it is no doubt Mamo is a talented actress. Therefore, her background deserves her good performance. But one thing I can mention that when maturity comes in any actress regarding increase of her age in our country number of her calling to work is decreased unfortunately.”
Mamo shared her feelings by this way, “Mosharraf Bhai is a talented and class actor. For this reason, I always feel afraid of while acting with him because I think if I could give properly give re-action to him against his action while acting in any work. I am very much satisfied to be attached with this serial.”
Director Shamim Zaman said, “I have written the role Rani to keep in my mind the name of Mamo. From the beginning of the serial my friend Mosharraf has been cooperating me a lot. In fact, we are very old friends so we have better understanding.”
Meanwhile, January 19 is birthday of Shamim Zaman. For this reason, his birthday is to be celebrated in shooting spot today. There will be no shooting schedule tomorrow.
It is noted that Mosharraf Karim and Mamo first worked together Tauquir Ahmed’s movie Daruchini Dwip. They last worked together in Abu Hayat Mahmud directed a play titled Red Alert.
