Moosa enters ACC office in royal fashion with 25 bodyguards

Moosa bin Shamsher alias Prince Moosa, an international weapons trader and chairman of Datco Group, has entered the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) headquarters in a royal fashion along with 25 bodyguard including four women. He entered the ACC headquarters at Segunbagicha in the city sometimes ago to 10 O’clock on Thursday morning traveling by a red Toyota Alfred (Dhaka Metro Cha-5308690). The ACC accused Prince Moosa in the allegation of siphoning Tk 51000 crore overseas and amassing illegal wealth. Earlier on December 4, the ACC has summoned Prince Moosa to appear before ACC today (Thursday, December 18). According to sources, a report was published in Business Asia on Moosa bin Shamsher in June this year. It said he has $7 billion in a Swiss Bank. Shamsher was born in Faridpur district on Oct 15, 1950. He started his business career as a manpower exporter but international media usually portray him as an arms dealer.
