Dr. Engr. Md. Monzurul Haque has been given the current charge of Chairman of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) by the Govt. Order issued from the Ministry of Science and Technology on January 29 last.
Prior to be appointed as Chairman of BAEC, Dr. Engr. Haque has been serving as Member (Engineering) since 07 August 2014. Dr. Engr. Haque started his career in Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission in 1981 as an Assistant Engineer.
In his 35years long career, he has glorious contributions to the research and development activities of BAEC. He is serving a very active and successful Steering Committee Member of Asian Nuclear Safety Network (ANSN).
He has got professional trainings in various countries of the world including USA, Chain, Slovenia, Yugoslavia, India, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, Australia, Austria, Russia etc. He participated in various Technical Meetings, Seminars, Workshops in many different countries including Austria, China, Malaysia, Philippine, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Greece and India.
He has published more than 35 Articles in national and international Journals.
