Report :Monash University, Australia conducted the 3rd Monash “Empowering Future Minds” workshop on teachers’ development in Bangladesh schools organized by Monash University and supported by the Australian Trade Commission at BRAC centre, Mohakhali in the city recently. In the workshop, many school teachers of thirty different English medium schools from Dhaka and Chittagong participated. Dr Hoa Levitas, Senior Regional Manager, Channel Management (Offshore), Monash University stated that from the workshop school teachers in Bangladesh would develop their teaching skills. Australian High Commissioner to Dhaka Greg Wilcock and Dr Sivanes Phillipson, Monash University Faculty of Education, Australia delivered their speeches. Mostafizur Rahman,Business Development Manager of Austrade was also present there and played a significant role in supporting the workshop. Monash is a university of transformation. Monash Graduates rank in the Top 40 for employability among the world’s universities, as voted by more than 4500 CEOs (Global Employability Rankings 2011-2014), says Dr Levitas in the workshop.
