Entertainment Report :Though she has to be engaged as a Parliament Member popular but folk singer Momtaz couldn’t detached herself with own music arena. Besides working for the people, she has been rendering songs regularly for her fans. As a part of its continuation, she has rendered a playback song recently. After a break of seven years, Momtaz rendered a song under Kumar Bishwajit’s direction for movie Dhaka Dream. Title of the song is: Chandta jemon banka bondhu, montao tor banka, nishiratey buker bhetor lage keno faka. Prashun Rahman wrote lyrics of the song. Recording of the song was done at Bishwajit’s own studio in the city’s Uttara area recently. While sharing her feelings to take part in recording Momtaz told this correspondent, “After a long time, I have rendered an outstanding song. Lyrics and music of the song have touched my soul. I hope listeners will enjoy the song. Earlier two times I had rendered songs under Bishwajitda’s composition. I believe the song will take place in the mind of listeners.”Kumar Bishwajit shared his feelings by this way, “There is something new in my new song which was easily understood my Momtaz Apa and she rendered the song well. In fact, it is a good experience to work with experienced singers. This thing also happened in case of her.”Meanwhile, last week Momtaz has returned from Qatar after taking part in stage show there. Therefore, she is also engaged with upcoming municipality election. On the other hnad, Kumar Bishwajit is going to Canada on November 18. He will perform in Bangladesh Festival there. He will return to Bangladesh on November 26, Bishwajit said.
