Momtaz Begum, Khadiza Tahera, Nusrat Farzana emerged joint-champion in the Annual Sports Competition of Poetess Sufia Kamal Hall of Dhaka University (DU) on Tuesday. Afsana Parvin finished runner-up in the sports meet. The sports competition was held at the Central Play Ground of DU.
Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique opened the sports meet as the chief guest in the morning.
After the sports competition, Treasurer of DU Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
Provost of Poetess Sufia Kamal Hall Professor Dr Nilufar Nahar, the residential teachers of the Hall and the officials of the Physical Education Centre of DU were present at the prize-giving ceremony.
