President of City Awami League and former mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury passed whole day on Wednesday through visiting the residences of former 2 mayors and present mayor aimed at exchanging Eid greetings .
First of all , he went to the residence of newly elected mayor AJM Nasir , then went to residences of former Mayor Mahmudul Islam Chowdhury and M Manzoor Alam .
The news of the visit of senior AL leader to the residences of Mayor was circulated in the media quickly. While asked about his unexpected visit programs, he told the media that ” I became old, eye sight turns poor, wont hear clearly and my movement not on accurate schedule. Due to heavy downpour on Eid day, I could not came out from home . H e said I came out from home yesterday evening and turned at Anderkilla after roaming and get into the house of AJM Nasir whereas Nasir won’t aware about my visit earlier.
Nasir gestified me well and then went to Mahmudul Islam’s house and lastly to Manzoor house at midnight.
Former general secretary of Journalist s Union Reaz Haider chowdhury accompanied the Mayor, sources said. Sources of Manzoor Alam said Manzoor Alam was not present in the house when the Mohiuddin Chowdhury came over in Kattali house .
Sensing the news of the presence if Mohiuddin Chowdhury, Manzoor quickly back house to welcome the leader and take blessings from him. After finishing dinner, Chowdhury leaf for home at midnight, sources said.
