Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will face Dhaka Mariners Youngs Club in their crucial Super League match of the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium today. The match begins at 3.30 pm.
Mohammedan Sporting Club gained 39 points from 14 matches, while Mariners Youngs Club bagged 36 points from as many outings.
On the other hand, Dhaka Abahani Limited, the other title contenders collected 39 points from 15 matches.
If Mohammedan Sporting Club win the today’s match, Mohammedan Sporting Club will be the champions of the League. If Mohammedan make a draw with Mariners, Mohammedan will be the champions.
If Mohammedan lose to Mariners, then Mohammedan Sporting Club, Mariners Youngs Club and Dhaka Abahani Limited will earn equal points. In that case play-off matches will be held among Abahani, Mohammedan and Mariners. The winners of the play-off matches will be the champions of the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League.
