An all-round performance by Rumana Ahmed enabled Dhaka Mohammedan SC to earn a massive 133-run victory over AV Sporting Club under D/L method in a rain interrupted Dhaka Premier Division Women’s Cricket Super League match at the BKSP ground-4 in Savar on Thursday.
Mohammedan SC batted first after winning the toss and scored 239 runs for 4 in stipulated 50 overs.
Top order Rumana Ahmed hammered 77-ball 67 runs featuring seven fours while Pakistani Bismah Maroof (59), captain Salma Khatun (not out 46) and Rubiya Haider (44) were the other notable scorers for Mohammedan SC.
In reply, AV Sporting Club scored 81 for 8 in 37.1 overs before the match was stopped for rain.
Rumana Ahmed, who score the team highest 67 runs, also grabbed two wickets for 16 runs and was adjudged the player of the match. Besides, Bismah Maroof claimed three wickets for 14 runs and captain Salma Khatun took two for 8 runs.
