Mohammed Shawkat Jamil, Managing Director of United Commercial Bank (UCB) Limited and Maninder Bhullar, Managing Director of Incentive Remit, Malaysia, recently exchanging an agreement singing document at a function in Malaysia on Real-time International Remittance Service though its digital payment system Upay associated with FELDA Mobile (a joint venture company of Malaysia Government entity FELDA (Federal Land Development Authority). Under the deal, Bangladeshi migrant workers in Malaysia to send money to their family members directly through Upay wallet. This is the first ever real time remittance distribution channel in Bangladesh maintaining all the regulatory and AML guidelines. Senior officials from respective organizations were present.
