Modern orphan building built in Gangachara

A modern orphan building was constructed on the campus of Khobaib Bin Adi High School and Orphanage at Kachua in Gangachara of Rangpur district to provide employment to the neglected orphans through higher education.
At present, 41 orphans of the institute are studying in various government and private universities after passing secondary school. In addition, about 60 orphans are serving in high-level jobs in government and non-government organizations.
Khobaib bin Adi High School and Orphanage, run by the international charity Qatar Charity, was set up in 2004 on 5 acres of land. It has a well-equipped 4-storey academic building.
It also has a large hall room with a capacity of 500 people. There are modern management residences, huge playground, 14 classrooms, tailor training center, kitchen and dining.
On the other hand, a few days ago, a modern orphan building was added to this campus. The two-storey orphan building has already been completed at a cost of Tk 1.20 crore. There is a modern classroom, computer, office, dining and kitchen room.
Hafeez Haider Ali, director of the organization, said that usually the orphans in the society lead a miserable life. They are neglected and many go out of the mainstream of society.
The international donor organization Qatar Charity has brought together the needy orphans of the society to ensure their standard of living and modern living and education.
He added that now 435 orphans are being brought up in this institution under modern management.
Qatar Charity Dhaka Office Director (Social Welfare) Abdul Quader said that the orphans should not suffer in any way. They can grow up like other normal children in the society. That’s why we’re working.
