Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places in the country in the next 24 hours ending at 9 am today. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Barisal and Chittagong divisions,” said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) release here on Thursday. A few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Khulna divisions may see moderately heavy to heavy rainfall, added the release.
Meanwhile, a warning message of BMD said gusty or squally wind speeding 45-60 kph with rain is likely to occur over the regions of Rajshahi, Rangpur, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet.
