Mobile courts drive continue to control price hike

Chittagong District Administration is conducting mobile courts at the markets almost every day during holy month of Ramzan to control price hike.
Chittagong district administration conducted mobile courts at Reajuddin Bazar and Mimi Super Market in the port city on Monday morning. The Assistant Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Chittagong Morad Ahamed is leading the team of mobile court and the Monitoring Cell.
 The mobile court visited the cloth’s shops and dress houses at Reazuddin Bazar and Mimi Super Market. But, the courts did not find any shop owners for selling goods at higher price than the fixed price.
ADC of Chittagong Morad Ahamed said, “We have already formed Market Monitoring Cell to control the price hike during holy month of Ramadan in the current year. Besides, we are continuing the mobile court to ensure the fixed price of essentials for buyers of the port city.”
It may be mentioned that Chittagong district administration formed Market Monitoring Cell to control the price hike during Ramadan in the current year like every year.
 The Market Monitoring Cell already visited many markets and kitchen markets in the port city and alerts the traders of kitchen market not to sell the essentials at higher price.
