Three suspected cow lifters were beaten to death by an angry mob at Majumderpara area in Prembag village under Abhaynagar upazila of Jashore district on Monday morning.
The deceased are all aged between 35 to 45 years but their identities could not be known yet said Md Tajul Islam, officer-in-charge of Abhaynagar Police Station.
Police said ,The incident took place around 4:00am when a group of Cow lifters were allegedly trying to steal three cows from a cow house at Gaidgachhi village in Sadar upazila of jashore said the OC.
what was happening to realising , Cow owner Khorshed Ali shouting for help to announcement from the local mosque about the cow stealing . A mob gathered and chased the alleged cow lifters for almost two kilometres till Prembag village of Avaynagar upazila and managed to catch three of them.
