MMC announces MBBS admission

MARKS Medical College (MMC) has recently announced MBBS admission for this year in the college. The medical college started its journey through the first batch’s admission of MBBS course in the session 2011-12.
Non-government medical education institutions were established considering the growing health service and demand of medical educational institutions in the country. Once students cannot get medical education without government medical college. But nowadays, many private medical colleges were established and teaching there medical education with name and fame. One of them MARKS Medical College (MMC) is mentionable.
Late Brigadier General (Retd) Prof Dr M Masudur Rahman Khan, noted physician and the first ENT and Head-Neck micro-surgeon of the country, established the college. Prof Dr Masudur Rahman Khan, the founding principal of the college, was chairman of the MARKS Group.
The Campus of MARKS Medical College is situated at MARKS Tower, Mirpur in the city with a multi-storayed high-rise building. A good number of experienced teachers are serving their jobs with the leadership of Prof Dr Shahjahan Ahmed Chowdhury as Principal of the college.
Most of the teachers here are highly educated and they always try to provide quality education to 210 students of three batches in the classes.
The MMC students always enjoy practical classes with sufficient laboratory facilities in its own 350-beded hospital with outdoor and indoor services.
The college has a modern library with digital facilities including computers and Internet, and there were 2000 connection.
Hostel facility: Students of outside the capital will enjoy hostel facility on the campus of the college with full-time supervision of teachers and standard residence and dining system of reasonable prices.  
Prof Dr Shahjahan Ahmed Chowdhury, Principal of the college, said, “There is no alternative to practical experience for students in education of medical science.
We provide such education to the students through lab-based practical classes and indoor and outdoor facilities of the 350-bedded MARKS Hospital. We are very much sincere to our valued students.”
Md Tarique Masud Khan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the MARKS Group, looks after the administration of the college.
