Bangladesh chess team won their 4th round game in open section of the 42nd World Chess Olympiad now being held at Baku in Azerbaijan.
In open section Bangladesh beat Albania by 3.5-0.5 points.
In open section GM Enamul Hossain Razib (Rating-2431) beat Dervishi Erald (Rating-2564), GM Ziaur Rahman (Rating-2512) beat IM Seitaj Ilir (Rating-2374) and GM Niaz Murshed (Rating-2439) beat FM Ashiku Franc (Rating-2322) and GM Mollah Abdullah Al Rakib (Rating-2488) drew with IM Mehmeti Dritan (Rating-2415).
In women’s section Bangladesh women team lost to Turkey by 0-4 points. WIM Shamima Akter Liza (Rating-2129) lost to IM Atalik Ekaterina (Rating-2422), WFM Sharmin Sultana Shirin (Rating-2002) lost to WGM Yildiz Betul Cemre (Rating-2369), WIM Rani Hamid (Rating-1993) lost to WGM Qzturk Kubra (Rating-2277) and WFM Zakia Sultana (Rating-1885) lost to WIM Isgandarova Khayala (Rating-2188).
Bangladesh women team earned 4 match points and 7.5 games points.
