Popular actress of two Bengals – Bangladesh and Kolkata – Rafiath Rashid Mithila has been passing busy times with her official works outside the
country from June to August. She has been working with BRAC for many days. For this reason, despite having interest, the actress cannot give time to acting frequently. Her last released two movies were: Amanush (Bangladesh) and Aay Khuku Aay (Kolkata). Basically releasing of Amanush, Mithila has debuted her acting career in the silver screen.
During releasing of these two movies Mithila was staying in African country Tanzania. So, the actress couldn’t give time for the promotional activities of these movies. For this reason, Mithila’s mind became gloomy.
Mithila informed that few days ago, she went to Kolkata from Tanzania. Then she returned to Tanzania.
After coming to Bangladesh after August, the actress will not be able to take part in the shooting of her upcoming movie before October. In October, she will start shooting of Lubna Sharmin directorial movie Nulia Chhorir Sonar Pahar. While talking in this regard, Mithila said, “Before October I have no schedule to work. Director gave me this schedule in October after realising the matter. I have liked story of the movie. I hope this work will be done successfully and properly.”
Meanwhile, before going to Tanzania, Mithila took part in the shooting of Gias Uddin Selim’s movie Kajol Rekha. She played the role of Konkon Dasi. According to director Selim and Mithila’s co-actors, Mithila acted outstandingly well in this role in the movie.
By profession, besides acting, Mithila has been working as Head of Early Childhood Development Department at BRAC for many days.
In Kolkata, she has already completed shooting of Rajarshi Dey’s Maya and Arunav Khashnobish’s Neeti Shastro. These two movies are waiting to get release dates. Mithila is also hopeful about these movies, said the actress.
