Mithila is a popular model and actress of present generation. She is passing days either in Dhaka or Kolkata. But now she will pass time in Dhaka because she will work in several numbers of dramas and telefilms on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr, the actress confirmed the matter yesterday.
Mithila will work in several
dramas under direction of Abu Hayat, Goutam Koiree, among
others in this regard. She will
act in their Eid projects.
Mithila informed that she has already finished shooting of a short film, a web series and a faction drama recently. Under Tanim Rahman Angshu’s direction, she took part in shooting of a short film titled Miyao. Before it, she
finished shooting of Tanim Nur and Krishnendu Chatterjee directed web series titled Contract. Last two days, she also completed shooting of Priti Dutta’s a faction drama titled Lovers. Within very short time, Mithila will also take part in shooting of another drama of Priti Dutta under her direction.
According to Mithila, she earlier worked under Tanim Nur’s direction in a wev series titled Ekattor for HoiChoi platform. While talking about acting in short film, web series and dramas Mithila told this correspondent, “Now I have to stay in Dhaka because I have
confirmed to work in several projects on the occasion of coming Eid here. I am taking preparations in this regard now. In Contract,
I will be seen to play the role of a politician. Earlier, I didn’t work in such role. Tanim Nur and Krishnendu worked nicely for the web series. I also acted under Angshu’s direction in the short film where my role was a pregnant woman. Many interesting incidents take place revolves with this character. I always enjoy Angshu’s direction. Earlier, I didn’t have any experience to work under Priti Dutta’s direction. There is few number of woman directors are working in the country. For this reason, I wanted to work under her direction in the drama. Before working under her direction
I watched Priti Dutta’s several works on YouTube channels which I liked. She works cordially.
I believe in future she will do better jobs.” Mithila also said that besides acting, she is also working as Head of Early Childhood Development at Brac International now. But she is working from ‘Work from Home’ now. For this reason, she can do her office works from Kolkata or Dhaka through online. She is also doing her PhD on Early Childhood Education from University of Geneva, Switzerland now, she added.
