Music-lovers will hear many times National Film Award winner music composer and music director Alauddin Ali composed one of the most popular play-back songs titled Ei duniya ekhonto ar sei duniya nai in new way. The song was used in Amzad Hossain’s movie Dui Paisar Alta in 1982. But the song was earlier broadcasted on BTV. Later, it was used in cinema.
The original play-back song was rendered by noted Ghazal singer Mitali Mukherjee. To render this song, Mitali for the first time got the National Film Award. Later, she went to India. This time that popular song will be heard in voice of late Alauddin Ali’s wife, singer Mimi Alauddin in new way. Mimi Alauddin herself confirmed the matter.
While talking in this regard Mimi Alauddin said, “While rendering the song, Mitali Mukherjee gave me phone calls from India to inspire me and also gave co-operation in this regard. How the song will be rendered? How the speeches will be throwing? – She gave me instructions everything related to the song. I tried my level best to render the song properly. If Alauddin Ali is alive today, he will surely become happy for the song because it was one of his favourite songs. I have much gratefulness to owner of Anupam Recording Anwar Hossain for giving me the opportunity to render the song again in new way. The song will be released on YouTube channel of Anupam Recording in December.”
“Works of Alauddin Ali composed 10 songs are going on now. Mohammad Rafiquzzaman, Alauddin Ali, Shahidullah Farayezi and Saiful Azam Bashar wrote lyrics of these songs. Therefore, Alauddin Ali composed two more songs including Konokichhu shesh hoye jaina, e hridoy smritimoy ayna were also rendered by me. These songs will be released one after another. To come into this position, there is a lot of contribution of my father AN Faiz Ahmed,” Mimi also said.
