Police recovered the throat-silt body of a schoolboy from under a culvert at Kumgram in Singra upazila recently, two days after he had gone missing.
The deceased was identified as Jewel Sarker, a class II student of Krgram Primary School. Monirul Islam, officer-in-charge of Singra Police Station, said Jewel went missing on Friday.
Locals spotted his body under the culvert around 8pm and informed police.
