Police recovered the body of a minor girl from Kolpolok residential area under Bakolia thana on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mariam, 6, daughter of Md Mofizur Rahman, hailing from Ukhia upazila in Cox’ Bazar district.

Mariam went missing on Thursday afternoon after she went out of house for playing.
Later, locals spotted the body in a fish project of the area and informed police. Police recovered the body.
