Police on Tuesday night recovered the decomposed body of Sharmila Khatun, 10, student of class-III at Hakimpur Dakhil Madrassah under Chaugachha upazila and daughter of Hafizur Rahman of Faridabad village under the upazila garden at the village.
She had been going missing since 22nd June afternoon as she went out of her residence with her bicycle, said Azizur Rahman, uncle of the dead.
Confirming the information sub inspector Atiqul Islam told that the body was sent to Jessore General Hospital after recovering it from a mango orchid at around 8pm on Tuesday. Details about the death of the child could not be ascertained.
