A schoolgirl, who went missing from the district six days ago, was rescued from Bishil area under Shah Ali thana in the capital early Friday.
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-8) sources said the 8th grader of Ishan Memorial Institute fled home in the morning of June 30 following an altercation with her parents from Charanshipur village in Sadar upazila.
Later, the girl’s father filed a general diary with Kotwali Police Station.
A team of Rab-8 led by company commander Md Rais Uddin raided a rented house in Bishil area and rescued the girl around 5:30 am, said the sources.
