Missing BD student found in NY after five days

The Bangladeshi boy who went missing on Feb 25 in New York has been found, his father Altaf Hossain, a central committee member of Jatiya Party, has said. Police found Torun Mohammad Tanvir Hossain Rabbi at Wall Street in Downtown Manhattan early on Thursday.
Rabbi, an eleventh grader at a local high school, went missing on Sunday, according to a report filed by his father.
The 21-year-old intermittently suffered from mental illness, according to his family.
Altaf told bdnews24.com that, he took Rabbi to a men’s salon on Sunday evening but Rabbi all of a sudden changed his mind and insisted to go back home.
The Jatiya Party leader sent his son back home and stayed back for a haircut. But when he returned home that day, Rabbi was not there, he said. He reported the matter to police after waiting for Rabbi till 11pm the same day. Police circulated pictures of Rabbi to find him and finally discovered him at Wall Street in Downtown Manhattan early on Thursday. The boy was clad in the same attire in which he was last seen.
His family members took him back home after getting him some medical treatment. Altaf said they were trying to find out in what condition Rabbi had been for the last five days but Rabbi had not been talking normally to anyone in the family since return.
