Phensidyl recovery: Mismatch between recovery, seizure list

 A team of Phulbari police seized two sacks of phensidyl bottles but allegedly a day after the number was shown only 105 bottles.
According to official sources of Phulbari police, a team raided Laxmipur village under Khoyerpukur union in Phulbari upazila of Dinajpur on Monday (8th June) night and seized two sacks of phensidyl .
The number is not less than one thousand bottle at least.
5 Sub Inspectors of Phulbari police station including Shah Alam, Nawshad, Mominuzzaman, Prodip and Aminul Islam raided there two times and seized two sacks of bottles and took them to Phulbari police station same on Monday night .
But police prepared a seizer list mentioning only 105 bottle were seized.
The number questioned by many policemen of the police station.
Seeking anonymity said many police officials said locals of the area avoid to be witnesses for harassment of police and police exploited the opportunity.
Nawshad SI of the police station said during the raid the policemen seized two sacks of bottles. But he unaware about the number of bottle in the sacks.
Abu Tarek ASP of Phulbari Circle told the reporters of Phulbari that the number of bottles were 500.
Mostaque Ahmed Officer- in -Charge of Phulbari police station told The New Nation the number is 105. He required huge source money to conduct such raid, but Police Department has no financial support to pay the source money.
Some bottles cut from the list for arranging the source money, he said.
