Miscreants have broken the boundary wall of Union Health and Family Welfare Center in Joynabari area of Hemayetpur in Savar.
Police said the miscreants broke down the boundary wall of the union health center in the early hours of Friday (May 13). More than one lakh taka has been lost in the incident. After receiving the news, Savar Model Police Station visited the spot in the morning. Although the Union Health Center was built on 45 decimal of the land, the miscreants have been occupying 20 decimal of the land and setting up shops.
Savar Upazila Health and Family Welfare Officer Mezbah Uddin said that the miscreants would break the boundary wall and set up shop again. He demanded severe punishment for the miscreants in the incident. In this incident, he has made a general diary (GD) at Savar Model Police Station.
Savar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Mazharul Islam said that strict action will be taken after investigating who or what vandalized the boundary wall of Union Health Center.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Savar Model Police Station Kazi Mainul Islam said action would be taken after investigation.
