Miscreants damage shops, vehicles, 2 held

 A barbaric incident of vandaliising was occurred in the port city on Thursday afternoon.
The incident was occurred at GEC intersection in city at about 1.30 pm where about 13 shops and several numbers of vehicles were vandalized, eye witnesses sources said.
 Police rounded up two unruly youths from the spot instantly.
 Eye witnesses sources said at about 1.30 pm a group of youths assembled at intersection of GEC crossing who uttered slogans of Joy Bangla and attacked the shops with ransacking their properties . After ending their vandalizing the shops, they began ransacking the private vehicles on road where on duty police immediately rounded up two youths.
Duty officer of Khulisi thana told that the unruly youths immediately escaped from the spot before reaching police force there. While contacted Deputy Police Commissioner (North) Md. Abdul Warish told that these miscreants vandalised a showroom of Banofool Sweatmeat house, one Photostat shop and one stationery shops and ransacked three vehicles during their nuisances.
 Police is investigating the matter aimed at arresting the real culprits, sources said. Police is interrogating the arrested youths at thana till writing this report, a sources said.
