Bajitpur Police Station Sub-Inspector was injured seriously and other policeman was injured by some identified miscreants at Mojlishpur Village, Sharchar Union under Bajitpur upazila of Kishoreganj on Saturday evening.
The victim police officer was identified as Alok Kumr Datta (40), Sub-Inspector of Bajitpur Thana. He was admitted to Zohurul Islam Medical College Hospital in Bajitpur.
Police Super Md Anwar Hossain Khan said, on secret information when criminals attempted the bank robbery, police rushed the spot.
Criminal attacked the police team and at one stage and police fires 3 rounds bullet.
Police arrested two criminals and recovered the Ramdao. The arrested person are Milon Miah Mitu (35) and Rasel (33).
