Both Mir Sabbir and Anika Kabir Shokh are engaged with acting round the year for the small screen. When Eid comes they become busier with their works. This Eid for the first time Shokh is going to work under Sabbir’s direction in a play titled Baap Beta Dourer Upor.
Mir Sabbir also wrote story of the play. Its shooting is scheduled to be held on September 1 and 2. It will be made to telecast on GTV in Eid-ul-Azha.
Meanwhile, Sabbir and Shokh have also finished shooting of two single episode plays on the occasion of coming Eid. One is Maruf Mithu’s Koto Je Tomake Beshechhi Valo, which shooting was wrapped up on August 21 in the city’s Uttara area.
Therefore, with Shokh Sabbir has also finished shooting of another play titled Bebrosin-30, which was directed by Ripon Ratan. These plays will be aired in Eid.
However, from next week Sabbir and Shokh will take part in shooting of Maruf Mithu’s serial titled Ghor Jamai where Sabbir will play the key role.
While talking about these works for Eid Mir Sabbir told this correspondent, “In last Eid, my directed play Baap Beta Diwana got popularity among the viewers. I and Sayeed Babu acted in the title roles in that play. On the occasion of coming Eid I am going make its sequel to cast Shokh. It will be Shokh’s first work under my direction. Shokh is not only a good actress but also a good human being. I hope it will be a nice work.”
Anika Kabir Shokh shared her feelings by this way, “This Eid my acted several good works to be aired in different satellite channels. I will work under Sabbir Bhai’s direction for the first time. I am optimistic about this work. In fact, I got good scripts for Eid serials and plays in which I will work.”
Mir Sabbir directed mega serial Noashal has already received popularity among the viewers.
