The 2nd Mir Corporate Football Fiesta, organised by Leo Entertainment and powered by Sailor, begins here tomorrow (October 23) at the artificial turf of International Turkish Hope School in Uttara.
Sixteen teams, split into four groups, will participate in the 2nd version of the six-a-side nine-day meet, in three categories– Cup, Plate and Bowl.
The participating teams are : defending champions Bando Design, Comfit Composite Knit Ltd, Accenture, Therap, Mir Group, Int’l Turkish Hope School, Qubee, Magnito Digital, Gemcon Group, MTB, IDLC, Computer Source, Grey, Madchef, Vizrt and Asiatic.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Cup quarterfinals, the 3rd team from each group will play in the Plate semifinals while the bottom team from each group will play in the Bowl semifinals.
Each of the three categories will have champions and runners-up.
US Bangla Airlines will award the Cup champions with air tickets to Cox’s Bazar while Sailor will award their branded wear to the winners. Wills events will give three Smartphone to the Best Goalkeeper, Highest Scorer and Player of the Tournament.
