A four-year old girl was raped at Solmaid of Bhatara thana under Dhaka Metropolis on Saturday night.
The victim was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), following the incident.
Neighbouring Sumon, 17, allured the girl to his room and raped her, when she was playing in front of her residence around 8pm, the victim’s father told media.
Sumon and his family
members went into hiding as the news spread.
The victim’s father filed a case in this connection.
Abdus Sakur , Duty Officer of Bhatara Police Station, said that efforts are on to arrest Sumon.
