A minor boy drowned in a pond at Gandagohali village in Puthia upazila on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Abdullah,5, son of Abul Kalam of the village.
Family members said Abdullah drowned while taking bath in the pond near his house to the unawareness of his family members in the afternoon.
