7 ACC officials to probe: Ministers, MPs amassed wealth beyond means!

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday authorized its seven officials to unearth whether former and incumbent seven ministers and MPs accumulated wealth and properties beyond their means.
ACC Public Relation Officer (PRO) confirming it to The New Nation said, one officer would hold inquiry into the wealth and properties of one minister or MP.
The officials are Deputy Directors (DD) Mirza Zahidul Alam, Khairul Huda, Ahsan Ali, Nasiruddin, Syed Fayad Alam, Tahsinul Haque and Assistant Director Masudur Rahman.
They will conduct investigation against Prof Dr A F M Ruhal Haque, former Health and Planning Minister, Abdul Mannan Khan, former State Minister for Housing and Public Works, Mahbubur Rahman, former State Minister for Water and Resources, Enamul Haque, former MP from Rajshahi Constituency-4, Abdul Jabbar, former MP from a Constituency of Satkhira, Abdur Rahman Bodi, MP from Chittagong Constituency-4 [Ukhia-Teknaf] and Aslamul Haque, MP from Dhaka Constituency-14.
To a question, DD Mirza Zahidul Alam did not say anything about the time of completing the inquiry.
Some newspapers and TVs reported about the unusual accumulation of huge wealth by the ministers and MPs.
