The candidates seeking admission into private medical college and dental colleges must obtain 120 marks in admission test, according to a Dhaka University (DU) decision.
DU will not provide registration for those students who secured a low mark less than 120 in the admission test for private medical and dental colleges affiliated by the university.
The admission seekers must obtain minimum 120 marks out of 200 in admission test taken by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to be admitted into first year MBBS and BDS course in medical and dental colleges under the academic session 2013-2014, such decision was taken
Recently some of the colleges published the admission advertisement in newspapers for those students who got less than 120 marks in the admission test. College Inspector, Bimal Kanti Guha said, “Show cause notices will be provided to the colleges on Wednesday for this kind of advertising”.
