Wife of legendary music composer
of the country Alauddin Ali, Mimi Alauddin is going to release her six
new original songs. Of these six songs,
Shahid Mahmud Jangi wrote lyrics of two songs, while Naquib Khan has
composed music of these. Jamal Hossain wrote lyrics of two other songs, while Muhin Khan and Ujjal Sinha have
composed its tunes. Lyrics of rest two songs were written by Shahidullah Farazi and Adhora Jahan. Foad Nasser Babu has composed music of these two songs.
Now Mimi has been passing busy times with these six songs. According to the singer, arrangements of music of these six songs have already completed. Now she has to think about making music videos of these songs. Mimi also said that she has to render legendary singer Runa Laila rendered popular song titled ‘Koler gari taratari chalao roshik driver’ in new way. Moniruzzaman Monir wrote lyrics of this song, while its music was composed by Alauddin Ali. Manam Ahmed has re-arranged music of this song. Mimi is very much excited with this song because for the first time, she is going to cover Runa Laila’s a song. There must have courage to cover Runa Laila rendered any song. Though it was late but Mimi has shown her courage in this regard, said the singer.
Meanwhile, today is Mimi’s birthday. On her birthday, she will perform in a stage show in Gazipur. She will be accompanied by her daughter. While talking about her upcoming new original songs, rendering Runa Laila’s song and also celebrating her birthday, Mimi Alauddin told this correspondent, “I am rendering six new original songs. Lyrics and music compositions of these six songs are really nice. As I am wife of late Alauddin Ali, so I have to select before rendering songs. I hope at the end of this month, I can release Naquib Bhai composed song. But I am most excited with Runa Laila Apa-rendered song. This song was composed by everybody’s favourite music composer Alauddin Ali. For this reason, I showed my courage to render this song. I have taken necessary preparation for rendering the song. In fact, it is not an easy task to render Runa Apa’s song. I think it is a blessing for the singers to render her songs. There is no plan to celebrate my today’s birthday. For the first time, I will pass the day without my mother. In fact, when I think I have no father, no mother and no husband, I feel really bad. However, everybody prays for me.”
Mimi Alauddin also said that Mitali Mukherjee’s popular song titled ‘Ei Duniya Ekhonto Aar’ will be covered by her voice soon.
