Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted that the ongoing heat wave might continue and spread in the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday. “Mild heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Jashore and Kushtia, and it may continue and spread,” said a met office bulletin issued here.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country but rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur over Khulna and Barishal divisions and the regions of Cumilla and Noakhali.
