Ten persons of a bridegroom party were injured in Godagari upazila’s Kamarpara of Rajshahi district on Friday when a microbus carrying a bridegroom party collided head-on with a stone laden truck.
Witnesses said, the microbus was going to Chapainawabgonj from Pabna. Fire Service and Civil Defense members rescued the injured from the micro bus.
They cut different parts of the vehicle and brought out the injured. The microbus was wrecked and 10 of its passengers were injured. The condition of three of them is critical.
All the 10 injured were admitted in Godagari 31 Beds Hospital. The injured are yet to be identified.
Jahangir Alam, OC of Godagari Police Station while talking with the journalists confirmed the incident.
